Behind the Creation

Pa Lor gathered oral histories from elder musicians and spiritual guides to inform the melodic resonance of the bells. Each component—silver domes, braided cords, feathered tassels—serves as an invocation to ancestors, guiding performers through ritual-infused choreography.

The bells were unveiled during a cross-cultural performance festival, integrating traditional dance with ambient electronica. The soundscape blends field recordings from mountain villages with live improvisation.
